My Feet Are Orange

Q:What kind of vain person dyes their skin to be beautiful?

A: Crazy people who are afraid of skin cancer.

Today I am trapped - working as a proctor for extra cash - all day. Watching students type, sneeze, agonize, cry, think and chew (pencils).

I'm booooooooooored. And slightly grossed out (does NO ONE use a kleenex? I'm never touching another public mouse again).

It's raining and I stupidly chose to wear sandals.

I've got nothing to do except stare at my orange feet.

It's all about the kind of fake tanner you use, how you apply it and where you apply it to. By and large, you should avoid feet, hands, knees and elbows. But if you do apply to those areas, do so very lightly - maybe even dab off the excess with a towel or something. And as to the brand - I always liked Neutrogena foaming stuff. But by and large, the more pricey the better the color.

Vanity ain't no thing. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

You remember the first time I got a Mystic Tan? It was for Sarah's wedding and my feet were BRIGHT orange. I feel your pain and have learned from the experience. They really do mean it when the tell you to wipe the solution off of your feet first.

I recommend Jergens Natural Glow for an at-home self-tanning experience. It allows the color to some on more gradually, preventing orange feet, knuckles, knees and elbows.

I tried that [Jergens]. It didn't work well. I looked the same after two weeks. I like this spray on stuff - it's nice and even, I just happened to miss dabbing my elbow and feet. It's kind of funny actually.
