My coworker's friend asked that while he was in Pakistan, he bring along a tool to teach his classroom about the world: Flat Stanley. Basically, it's a cartoon cut out of a little man. He asks that "owners" of Flat Stanley take pictures of him throughout the country, as a way to expose his students to new and different things.
My co-worker and I of course, took this task very seriously. Below are my photos of Flat Stanley.
At the port of Karachi. Flat Stanley forgot his swim trunks at home.
Flat Stanley at the Badshahi Mosque.
Flat Stanley in front of the
Hazuri Bagh Baradari in Lahore.
Flat Stanley enjoys the Shish Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) in the Lahore Fort.
Flat Stanely surrepticiously enjoys roasted corn by the roadside in Islamabad.

Dude, how long has your hair been brown?
Sara and I did the same thing for our nephew, except we just did it in and around Portland, which isn't quite as exotic as your locales.
